Loose dentures, or missing teeth?

Your denture is designed and milled in our own denture laboratory. Same building as your dentist, so adjustments happen here rather than three weeks from now.

Denture options

Which denture are you after?

Immediate dentures

Immediate dentures

A denture made before your teeth come out, then fitted the same day they do. You do not go home without teeth. We check it suits you first.

Partial dentures

Partial dentures

For when you still have some of your own teeth. A partial fills the gaps and clips onto the teeth you have left. Flexible acrylic if you want it lighter and less visible, cobalt chrome if you want it slim and strong.

Digital complete dentures

Digital complete dentures

A full set for an upper or lower jaw once every tooth in it has gone. Yours is scanned, designed on screen and milled from a solid block in our lab. The design is saved, so a replacement never starts from scratch.

Implant supported overdentures

Implant supported overdentures

Also for a jaw with no teeth left, but this one clips onto implants rather than resting on the gum, so it stays where you put it. Whether it works for you comes down to your bone and gums.

Lower suction dentures (SEMCD)

Lower suction dentures (SEMCD)

Lower dentures are the ones that move. This is a full lower denture shaped to seal against the soft tissue and grip by suction. No adhesive, no implants.

Not sure which one you need? That is what the consultation is for. Nobody self-diagnoses a denture from a website.

Cost

What it costs

We cannot put one number on this page honestly, because four things move the price.

  • How many teeth you are replacing

  • Which material you go with

  • The state of your gums and the teeth you still have

  • Whether anything needs to come out first

So the consultation is free and you leave with a written quote. You will know the full figure before anything starts.

Prefer to spread the cost? Flexible payment plans are available, allowing eligible patients to pay for their treatment in manageable weekly or monthly repayments rather than all at once.

Weighing dentures against full arch implants? The Australian Dental Association's own consumer site calls dentures a cost effective way to replace missing teeth. Which one fits your mouth is a separate question, and that is what the free consultation answers.

Repairs and relines

Same-day Denture Repairs & Relines

Our lab is in the building, so most repairs and relines never leave it. Bring the denture in. We will look at it, tell you what it needs and what it costs, then get on with it. If it is causing pain, do not wait it out. Call us and we will get you in.

Our clinic

Most practices post your denture to a lab across town

Our dental laboratory is right here in the building. That means your prosthetist, dentist and the person making your denture can work together under one roof, with less back-and-forth and faster turnaround for new dentures, adjustments and repairs.

CBCT, OPG and intraoral scanning are here too, so you are not driving across Melbourne for a scan. Our team speaks English, Telugu, Sinhalese, Urdu and Turkish.

Fitting and review

3.Fitting and review

Two to four weeks from first appointment to fitting for most dentures. Your review is included, and so are the small adjustments while you settle in.

Common questions

What people ask us

What will it cost?

It comes down to how many teeth, which material, and the state of your gums. The consultation is free and you leave with a written quote before anything begins. Payment plans are available if you want to spread it.

We proudly accept Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) patients.

How long does it take?

Two to four weeks for most dentures, first appointment to fitting. We are not queuing behind an outside lab, because the lab is ours. Some cases take longer and we will say so upfront.

Can I get a denture the day my teeth come out?

Usually yes. It is called an immediate denture, made in advance and fitted the day your teeth come out. Worth knowing: gums change shape as they heal, so it will need a reline or a replacement later. We build that into the plan rather than springing it on you.

Are dentures right for me?

Depends on the teeth you have left, your gums and your general health. Healthdirect puts it simply: dentures replace missing teeth and make eating and speaking easier. The consultation is where we work out whether they are the right call for you.
